Forbes | Be Like Ruth: 5 Lessons From Ruth Bader Ginsburg's Early Career Steps

Earlier this week, I had the incredible opportunity to view a screening of RBG, the documentary about the life of 85 year old Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

We already know RBG is a badass, because what other justice is known as notorious? Affectionately known as the Notorious RBG, Bader Ginsburg is a true Brooklyn girl who rose to the top of her field against all odds. The documentary is among the top grossing documentaries bringing in over 10 million at the box office, and still counting. It paints an intimate and inspiring picture of a “quiet warrior” and her rise to the top of the legal world.

What stood out to me about the film was the manifestation of RBG's determination, optimism and relentlessness even in the early days of her career. She had a strategy, and took things slowly. Below are five lessons from Bader Ginsburg’s path from ambitious young mother to unstoppable advocate, and attorney turned Justice.
